Ann is a character actress hailing from the great corn fed state of Iowa and likes to ride the magic carpet called her imagination. She appears in the feature film 'Stags'. Her solo show "Use It" was nominated for a 2009 ECNY award for 'best one person show' and ran for nearly a year to sold out audiences on the UCB NY and LA stages. Carr garnered praise for her performance in USE IT from Time Out NY who had this to say: ON THE MARK: Ann Carr is what most comics aren't: a fine actor. The Comedy Central web series 'Honesty' she starred in, was nominated for an Emmy and won the 2007 Webby Award. Her solo character show 'There Is Only One You' was also nominated for a 2008 ECNY Award. Ann currently spends most of her time writing and producing her webseries THE ACTRESS, auditioning to shill for corporate America, and thinking up various ways to engage her cat Emmylou in kitty aerobics.
